Klue do you think there are anymore blocks that are easy enough for a newbie. This looks like something i would love to join in on. If you have something that you think I could do please let me know. I have some Christmas fabric.

I'm making progress on my 2nd set - found some neat green fabric with gold stars to go with the burgundy I used in the first set - and will show pictures tomorrow. Wanted to post something tonight so I'll be back in the loop - somehow I've missed seeing postings for a day or so!

    tslowery

you could do block I1. its based on a 4 patch with 2 of the sections being a nine patch.

so you could strip piece this block and be done in no time.

here's a pic of the block

if you want to do it let me know and PM me you email address and i'll send you the pattern.

we've opened up the blocks for doubles because so many people have joined in the swap.

it was to the point that the only blocks left were really hard (like 40 pieces and only could be paper pieced) so to allow more beginner/intermediate people to join in - all the blocks can have duplicates. (no triplicates on any blocks though)

we have enough people in the swap now (35 so far) that doubles will be just enough to give everybody 1.

Oh, I read that, I guess it just didn't register in my brain. Glad to hear that though because it's nice that it will allow more to participate.

I'm hoping to get going on another set this week!
