Not sure which one you're doing, but the one I did I paper pieced, so I made the "outside" fabrics a little bigger than they should have been. That way, i can trim it down to 5" when finished. Easy to trim if it's too big, impossible to add if it's too small.

Is there a list of what blocks are being made or does it matter? Think I want to do this.

Holy cannolli...this is amazing! Gives a small glimpse into the DJ Sew A Long (what are we going to call that thing??!!!) and how much fun it's going to generate.

Also, once all the blocks go out and the quilt pictures start coming in. Going to be amazing.

we should come up with a cute name for the sew along because Dear Jane Sew Along sounds kinda blah.

i hope we get a lot of people but i think we'll have more people watching us then sewing along with us.

i'm starting to go thru the more complex DJ blocks and altering the patterns in EQ so that they can be paper pieced too.
