I am thinking about joining but will have to wait and see if my schedule can hold something else.
hurry up and finish the project on your sewing table that way you can join in - there'll be plenty of time to make some blocks if you jump in by Oct.

18 small blocks in 4 weeks is doable.

i like to pull my fabric early, that way i know if i need to buy anything and i just put it in the laundry room to wait until my next washing day.

i like to tie my fabric up in pillow cases and i just wash it with the rest of our linens.

I too appreciate all your help and motivation on this. I LOVE the table runner pattern you've created. Ahem...are you going to post cutting and piecing instructions? looks simple but I'm such a horrible math person!!

I ordered by DJ software yesterday - how long does Joanne's take to get them out?

I'm going to a Christmas fabric sneak peak friday night an LQS so I'll probably choose my fabrics then. I'll post after I pick them up. What, probably 1/2 yard of each (3) fabric per 18 block set?

yes, i can put up together directions for making the table runner - i'll wait till it get closer to swap time that way we know all the block options.

if you need stuff on your chosen block PM your email address and i'll send it to you.

i got my DJ software from joannes in about a week from when i ordered it.

you can do any christmas type. you can even use solid colors if you have - of red, green, gold, off white.

with some of the jane blocks solids or super tiny prints work best.

it doesn't have to scream christmas to work.

i just happened to have the fabric i posted because last year one of my corporate accounts ordered a bunch of handbags made from that line.
