Well Klue I can tell you I won't be making a full size quilt with mine but I do have a long table and I will start with a really long table runner then we will see. Maybe a wall hanging. I could also do some couch runners to go along the back of my two couches. Will have to see..........hmmm....Just ideas at this stage LOL

i was thinking about it last night and i thought a cute little tote with a block on it would be really nice.

you could use it as a gift bag for someone and put a candle or bubble bath inside and then they'd have a really nice christmas tote for the holidays.

yup, with a DJ block in the center. i switched tote bags yesterday and the one i'm using now is only about 8 inches high.

i though how great would a 4.5 inch block look right in the center.

It's darling fabric, but IMHO it doesn't work with the rules that have been laid out.
The colours aren't true because of differences in computer monitors & so on. It does "read" as dark green with brown gingerbread men "in real life". I can try to post a close up picture that might show the colours better if that would help. However, I'm fairly confident about the colour, just worried about the print.

    Thanks!

Good to hear. I hope you don't think I was being bossy. It looked blue...glad to hear it will work. Actually, I think the print is adorable!!! The gingerbread men are small enough that they may actually show up in the blocks!!

The one thing I do know is that I will NOT be giving away any of my xmas DJ blocks. They are going to be part of my special collection of quilts/blocks. The fact that you all are making them make them so special to me!!

I never heard back - were those circles appliqued? Looks like it...and they are so perfect!!

Wow, all the blocks are so beautiful! I can't get over the one with circles, I've never done a circle, how great that is!

I like the gingerbread too! I think the whimsy is just wonderful and a welcome addition in my mind.
