Dorothy, I've had Linda for my partner also before. She has a way with lots of textures and flair. They are always just beautiful. Yes please show us the inside of you can. Interesting fabric too. Love it.

I need to make some kind of deal with Linda to get one of those needlebooks.
I just love it to pieces. I love lacy things. I need one!!!

It's scrumptious!! I'd give up chocolate for one of those.

I received my pincushion and needle case from ctyankee today. Pam, I LOVE cardinals and your little pincushion is adorable! I cannot bring myself to stick pins in him, though! The tin, tissue holder, needle case and pins, along with the little birdie made my day. Thank you so much!

I love the cat in the tree picture. No tree here this year with one cat who completely undid the tree last year and a (new) 8 month old kitten. I can just imagine the damage.

I received a lovely package today from dluvs2quilt. A pincushion shaped like a present, a triple fold needlecase and a mini wall hanging that is hand embroidered. The needle case was so heavy, I couldn't figure out why she would have weighted it. Well... the weights were two chocolate bars hidden in the pockets. Wonderful. Thank you so very much.

Here's a pic with the needlecase open:

So glad you like your cardinals, Patchesnposies. I adore cardinals, too, & thought you would like them.

Dwina, love that photo of the cat in the tree. My 26-pounder, Arthur, doesn't try that (thank goodness!); he's not fat, just very big, with bobcat markings. Your little guy is adorable!

Everybody's ornaments are beautiful! Aren't we lucky! This has been a wonderful swap!

I will be working on my pc and nc this wk end. Thank you for all of the comments on the kitty picture. That kitty had a very poor start in life. When he was a baby he escaped outdoors and must have got a scent of something on him. When the owners got him inside the mother cat attacked him and injured his neck so bad that he dragged one of his front legs. A young teenage boy finally took him to our vet as a last resort, he didn't have any money to pay the vet and he gave her the cat. The vet did not have much hope, he was extremely dehydrated and was pretty lifeless. The vet gave him fluids, meds and took xrays of his neck and leg. She was able to get him nourished but he still dragged his leg. I had taken my 17 yr old cat to the vet that day for blood work. When my daughter and I walked into the office the vet said, Dwina you won the door prize today and placed the kitty in my daughters arms. Thats all it took. On the way home that's all she talked about. She felt bad for the poor little thing. He was not at all cute. He had over sized ears, guard hairs sticking out all over him and he was very scrawny. I called the vet to see if we could adopt him and she said yes, but he still had to stay there for more care. He eventually lost his limp and was improving so we went and got him, but 2 days later he had trouble with his tummy and had to stay a few more days. He now weighs 13.7 lbs and runs so fast through the house, and he flies up and down stairs. You would never know he had been so sickly. He is a handful, esp when we sew, he always has to help. I'll see if I can find a baby pic to post.
