Deb, I think handmade anything is the best gift ever, but I did learn a long, long time ago (the hard way) that there are many people who prefer store-bought! It baffles me, but, whatever. Believe me, I didn't go looking for imperfections &, in fact, don't believe in them! That was clever of you to make up pin kits! All your gifts are wonderful!

And, yes, I see clearly that these swaps are addicting!

Dwina, I made homemade dog biscuits (along with all those cookies for us humans), but if Jack had his way, they'd be all gone! I told him he has to share his doggie goodies with Belle across the street & Duke 2 doors down, so he's waiting patiently for his friends to come over so they can have their Christmas treats! I still have to make up those Christmas treat packages for everyone -- both human & canine -- but at least I'm finally done baking!

This really is the most wonderful time of the year!

Everyone stay safe & have a lovely Christmas! You all rock!

As far as Handmade gifts versus store bought, give me a hand made gift any day... I's a gift from the heart... Susan will take a few pictures and post them after Christmas for you and anyone else who wants to start more cactus...

Ctyankee what an awesome swap you got from Patches. I love handmade things and but I only give them to people who will appreciate them. I'm with you Dwina. Nothing has come to mind for me either. I guess I'm just glad that my Christmas stuff is all done and only have 1 package to deliver today. At least the weather is cooperating as it will 60 today and 42 tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to all of you swappers. This has been such a great year for this PC and NC swap and thanks so much to Karen for being the best hostess.

I went to bed at 4:15 this morning. Tonight I will go to bed earlier because Santa comes. Actually my fishermen have early hours, so they will want to open their presents early. DH makes biscuits and sausage gravy. DD is trying a new breakfast french toast casserole. I will be busy this evening entertaining the inlaws. My FIL is 81 and is a meat and potatoes guy. He wants pan fried scallops and clams not quite my idea of a holiday meal. Well everyone have a great Christmas with family and friends.

I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone who joined in the swap this year. I for one enjoyed the pictures, goodies I was sent and the kidding around. Lots of love and friendship is shown here. Many had illness or loss of loved ones. It's been a rough year for many.I wish everyone a Happy holiday and a great New Year from the bottom of my heart. Hugs Mary <3
