After finishing a couple of these other swaps, and finishing my daughter in law a set of coasters I can now work on my post card.
I also am still crocheting scarfs for the great nieces. 6 of them. I am on scarf number 4 now. Have the front side of a mug rug finished for my dad's main nurse who is so good to him. I think I have everything under control now. lol...
I have to get some cards sent out, but had to wait until things calmed down. My sister 4 years younger than me is in the Oak Ridge Hospital with a blood clot in her heart, and more in her feet and toes. When she goes home someone will have to be brought in to stay with her. She is in bad condition. I didn't know a person could get blood clots in their feet and toes.
I can't wait to work on my post card now.

I've got artist block. Can't think of what to do this month. The winter snow is peaceful. There's hope in new beginnings and the new year is certainly a new beginning. I've given up resolutions; failure is too final. But I do like goals: got a whole year to keep trying.
Just rambling thoughts.

Just a little update for those of you who know Elisabrat. I got a nice little Thank you note for the postcards that I have been sending her. She is now out of the Hospital and Rehab and is at home still trying to gain her strength back. And can still use some encouraging words or a card if you have the time.

Nelco, I love your use of rick rack on the edges. It's gorgeous!! It is a beautiful postcard. It looks like a vintage card from years ago. Did I say, I love it. Lucky you JuanitaBean!
