    [QUOTE=Quilty-Louise;4781647]The RAK list is GROWING.

I think there are about 35 (give or take a name or two) on the list now
who have said YES to sharing.

I am sending out NEW updated lists on weekly on the weekends now since
there seem to be continuing interest.

I have received 2 RAK's my self and have mailed out 2-3 so far with a
couple more in the works for later this week.

Louise, I went to the store to buy you a Ga mug and the store was so mobbed, that we left after I couldn't even get the guy's attention to ask if they had them, I think you'll have to wait till after the first of the year, I'm sorry< I'd wanted it to get to you by the holidays...
. Never fear, it'll eventually get to you...Also did you need a Va one, we're headed there?

I just wanted to share the little turtle pin cushion I sent to my swap gal. This little twin is an exact copy I sent to her. Sorry about the picture. I have tried every which way to get a clear picture. This is the best I could do. (my camera stinks!!)But, it does beat not having one at all. (see, the glass half full. lol)I got the pattern at the website listed below. If you have any questions, just let me know.

Brenda sorry about your job, make sure you tell the people at unemployment exactly what he was doing. Maybe contact legal aid as well?

Judith the turtle is darling, I do love pincushions!

    HI All

Finally caught up on aall the pages I had not seen, such nice packages and RAK's, A while back Teresa sent me a nice RAK and although I thanked her wanted everyone to know how special she is... I have been doctoring my Fibromyalgia, we have this mix of Cold then warm, dry then damp weather and the nerve endings can't keep caught up with one thing before another starts... Feeling half way decent today, so made some cookie dough this AM, can only work so long...
and hopefully will make the rest tomorrow and bake next week... WE don't have family here just the two of us, but do have a few neighbors and others will fix a package for...

I am waiting till after Christmas to send out a few RAK's as most of us are getting gifts from near and far and most times there is such a let time after the holidays thought that a Smile for a few people might just be the needed thing...
Just remember it's not what you send it's the fact you took the time to listen to people and sent them a SMILE... We all need one at times...

Loving all the packages and looking forward to the SS in the new year.. Hope there aren't to many on the bench, let me know and I will share some cookies....

I got my SP package yesterday and it was simply wunnerful. I only have her name, Celia, I couldn't find a board name.

M&M's, one of those 'freeze dried' cloths that you put into water and it opens up to a small towel. HEE. That was great, it has a polar bear on it. I also got a handmade Snap Purse, with goodies inside, some Reeses lip balm, kleenex, and some hand gel.

In the box, I found a small heart note pad, lol the DH said that would be some really tiny notes! A lovely ornament inside a box, the orni has santa on it. It is gorgeous. A farmland quilts book, that is hilarious on the inside, with chickens, cows and pigs. I love it. A book called 'my sisters keeper', which will probably be a tear jerker, but I'll be reading it at night before I go to sleep. I also got some fall buttons, four beautiful batik fat quarters, some notecards with a bunny on the front and tapestry needles. This is a really great swap and package.

    Thank you Celia!!

Brenda, so sorry about your job. Did you get your package? I haven't got mine yet, but my pal hadn't either, come on CUSTOMS people, release the thing, it is just sewing stuff.

Judith, that turtle pin cushion is just too cute.

Everyone who is not feeling well, hope you get to feel better soon.

And it is too early yo sit on the bench y'all, too much sewing still to be done here, lol. I am not going to sit on the bench until the 24th, you think I'll be done then?
