Thank you. I'm with you, I have to get my fanny off that bench. I sill have lots to do. I will be leaving Tuesday to go to my daughters house in NC. So I have a lot to get done before I leave. MY have to get done projects are done. I just need to prep the projects I'm taking with me to work on. Every little bit I can get done here and there is one less WIP. Which is big on my list of to do's in January. Have a good day. I will be back later.

Well it is going to be cheaper to fix my machine than to replace it. It's going to cost $125 plus tax. I've got a little over half the money raised so far thanks to being RAK'd by 3 wonderful angels on the board. I also wanted to let everyone know that I am doing much better today as well. Thank you everyone for all of your support and prayers. It means a lot to me.

Brenda go see an attorney right away. He broke the law. What he is going is considered sexual harrassment. And by firing you be cause you complained about being offended he can be held responsible. An attorney can explain your rights to you and what your next step should be. Do not let the guy get away with what he is doing. Good for you for standing up to him. If he is bringing up pornographic sites on a computer at the daycare center I think that he may even be able to be charged with criminal charges as well. I would talk to the police about this guy. If there are grounds they will pursue it and seize the computer and be able to tell what sites have been visited on the computers at the business. This would come in handy against him in a civil suit as well. I hope that you will not let him get away with this.

Do Not let him get away with what is going on, if you know about the things he is doing, what don't you know that is going on???? What if he is a pediphile(sp) if anything were to happen you would never forgive yourself for not reporting what is happening now!!!!!!!! Just my opinion

looking at adult pornographic material at work is not a crime whether it is a child care center or not. there are specific guidelines for harassment on the job and what constitutes a violation. lawyers need evidence (written, documented, recorded, etc.) to file harassment lawsuits and it takes more than someone's verbal word to get that process going. a friend of mine just went through this process with an attorney because of what she deemed unlawful termination. there was no written evidence. and i have also been down this road to no avail. others would need to come forth to corroborate any claims that are made or provide evidence to that fact for any lawsuits to go forth.

one suggestion would be for the alleged wronged party to make an appointment to talk to an eeoc officer to see if there is a viable claim for them to investigate. still proof is needed and others to corroborate the accounts are preferred. going to the eeoc to file a claim does not cost money. procuring an attorney's services for such would cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $200.00 for them to write a letter on your behalf outlining the alleged wronged person's allegations and that is just for starters. for the pornography at work, you can contact the state licensing board for childcare centers and see if you can file some sort of complaint. they usually want proof also but it may move them to check it out.

most people find that filing these type claims take more work and sometimes funds than they are prepared to sacrifice. if you seriously want to see what can be done, start with free services first and gauge the responses you get. they can let you know if you have enough information or proof to proceed. you can also call or contact current employees (if they are "friends") to see if they will support your claims. my friend found that while some of the remaining employees believed her termination was unfair, they did not want to stick their necks out to help her prove it (my friend was in a management position). in the end, the attorney advised her that she did not have enough to pursue a lawsuit. my suggestions are based on my own limited experience, the recent experience of my friend and my former employment with an attorney who handled such cases.

good luck with whatever you decide to do. i would suggest praying for direction before you begin your journey.
