Thanks, Mary. It makes me feel better. In fact I apologies to Busymom and she said that as the chicken was not going anywhere it did not matter. I am glad it has a new home.

Way to go Brenda!!!! Just think that the next person could be someone's daughter, niece, or granddaughter. You are doing your reporting for them as well as yourself. Thank you for taking a stand Brenda.

I just received a most delightful package from my sp Shirley, also known as Shamrock. And she ROCKS! My New Year resolution is to figure out how to post pictures on the computer, let alone this board. Sorry, but my description of what Shamrock sent me is all I can do right now. She must have known that my other resolution is to learn to paper piece, because she sent a Quilts in a Row Book called Mystic Vine. I can't wait. Shirley sent me 5 different red fabrics, with the peppermint candy one being my favorite! Also included were some memo pads, which I have already started using, a chocolate Santa for after supper, an audio book which I haven't heard yet, and some hand sanitizer to keep me healthy. Thanks so much Shamrock, for the wonderful box, your note, and for being my sp. You made my day. Mary

I had a cousin who was a diabetic, and the Doctor told her she could only her gold jewerly and she could never wear silver. She then went to work at store and they always made her work with the silver stuff and her hands were always breaking out in rashes after holding them. So they fired her because it.

These are about the only earrings I wear these days. 14k gold lever
backs; with a blue fire opal stone.

HAPPY DANCE HAPPY DANCE HAPPY DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My youngest daughter is home from Truman State until
Christmas Eve than she is off to K.C. for Christmas and
than she is headed to Virginia Beach to see her sister, back
to K.C. than to St. Louis and then it is finally back to school
    in Kirksville.

But I am happy to have her home even for this short visit.

Of course the oldest daughter (age 30) is pouting because
    of the youngest being home.

Ok, just discovered that Canadian smarties are not the same kind of candy as American smarties The ones that I got from my Canadian pal are CALLED smarties BUT they are very similar to our M&M's and are made by Nestle's....very interesting....and Lori I also was wondering where exactly one would wear such "delightful" earrings??? I would wear ONE as a pin but don't think I could do both as earrings.....

I found them at a second hand shop near my apartment building and at first ai thought they were the ugliest things i have ever seen, the more I looked at them the cutier they got but I don't think they will EVER be cute enough to wear!! I bought themas a gag gift, so beware secret pals of the future!! They could turn into the traveling cat earrings going into swap box after swap box never knowing where they will end up next........
