you may also consider taking a look on craigslist to see if there are any good deals. unless the machine you are trying to get fixed is really fancy, there may be other options to get a good machine for less than the repair costs.

One of my daughters loaned me the rest of the money and picked up my machine for me late yesterday afternoon. So as soon as I'm feeling better I can start sewing again. Thanks for all the help and support.
Dear SP I checked the post office website again and it now show your package is in your city so it looks like you should receive it tomorrow.

What an awesome package ...Diana
On Friday I had a surprise package. It was a big surprise as I was not expecting my December Swap Pal to be another Brit. Eileen, aka CannyQuilter, put together an awesome package and I am absolutely delighted with it.

Louise, that design is awesome-so beautiful. Kick the girls out and start sewing! (I am a mom to three adult girls)lol
I am soooooooooooo in the mood to sew and do some embroidery
want to make some blocks that can be turned into a quilt or (large)
wall hanging, but alas my oldest daughter is still camped out in my
fabric room and my youngest daughter is camped out in the sewing
(formerly known as a dining) room on a fold away mattress.
I can not get to any of my sewing machines and I really want to
badly today.
Help somebody rescue me LOL
THIS is the embroidery designs I want to make I have BOTH
left and right facing sets.

Just stopping by to say Merry Christmas to all of you! Also, I received a RAK from onaemtnest -- a tissue cover.
I started a RAK Thank You thread in case anyone wants to comment on RAK's received.
I am sorry to hear of people's health and job problems, and also of the loss of loved ones. That is all so hard, especially at this time of year. I am thinking of you.
Again, Merry Christmas!
Kris
