My future DIL (yes, my son is getting engaged on Christmas Day - shhhhh! don't tell!) just finished her first ever quilt. I am one happy future MIL! And she has signed up for the quilting board, too and will join the fun next month!

Lori that's Great!!!!! Everyone is doing soo good this month. And in a timely manner too. Plus it seems like more people have shown pictures too.Krystyna congratulations on the new daughter-in-law. Sounds like you get along with her. That will really make for a happy future.Good Luck to them. Mary

Lookie, lookie.....I received my December Secret Pal Swap box today from arizonagirl. It was filled with such wonderful things....I love it all. The best has got to be the homemade sewing machine caddy, her personal note that she wrote about herself, and all the other goodies. Thank you so much, arizonagirl!!! Merry Christmas, my new friend!!!

Woohoo with all the sp gifts being mailed already, that means we are
that much closer to getting to the January sp swap signups.
I am soooooo excited for the next swap, don't ask me "WHY" lol
just am at this point.
Soon as I get my new embroidery machine I plan to make it work
hard for me. While my current machine is in for the "spa"treatment.
I am not able to make ANYTHING that is FSL but I can do regular
embroidery, it doesn't make any sense to me, I have changed NOTHING
with the FSL but yet it will not work.
Just a few more weeks and I will have a new machine to play with.
NOW I have a question. When is it TOO early to send out "blocks"
geared for Christmas NEXT year? LOL. Just asking for right now.
I am LOVING all the pictures of the gifts being received such awesome
homemade things and stuff I see that I like.
Everyone DON'T forget about the NEW post that was started for RAK's

CONGRATS on getting a new DIL. You are lucky to have someone
who is going to be sharing your interest in quilting/sewing with you.
I just wish ANY of my 3 daughters would have help an interest in
sewing longer than 1 month. Oh well not to be I guess. LOL
