That said..........Shawana THANK YOU for my December swap package. I got two wonder full quilt books. One is on paper piecing and the other has 19 traditional patterns. I cannot wait to take my time and go through both of them. I got the most adorable chicken pot holder. It was so funny as my husband had to try it out. He was hilarious with it. I also got a cute little tin suitcase with wonderful jelly roll strips in lucious deep colors. I just love and appreciate everything you sent.

I DO hope that your next visit will be long enough for us to "wreck
some havoc" in town or at the least to Wooden Spools.

Glad you got back home safely, and that your sp package was there
    waiting for you.

Also glad to hear you got a RAK from Teresa.

I received a RAK yesterday also which I posted about including a picture
    on the RAK post.

Hello Louise, What a nice post! I too am so sorry the timing was sudden and I couldn't plan a time to get together!!!! We had about two hours on Monday afternoon we were leaving the Tech Center area, that kids were busy with other things and I thought "should I ask DH to drive to Wooden Spools?" How much of bummer would it be to go fabric shopping with my DH on drizzly day? (not so much, think of a big buzz kill! Now DH is wonderful but he's yet to understand the word STASH or need thereof) Asking him to go to a fabric shop would be tantamount to him asking me to shop with him at Home Depot! :0) So I thought I'll just wait for our next trip back home....

Weather was fantastic in Denver until Monday couldn't believe Saturday and Sunday such warm typical Colorado Winter days, sunshine and the air so free of smog that mountains looked as if you could touch them!!!!!

I'm so pleased we have a R.A.K. thread to post Thank-You's have just left there after posting my thanks!

I WAS good!!! Got my very generous pkg from JHolm today. It was full of fabric pieces and scraps and charm squares and orphan squares, my favorite things in the world. They have so much potential. Also came with candy bar, hand lotion, purse-size sewing kit, notepad. That envelope was literally stuffed with inspiration for me, and I can't wait to start some scrappies as soon as the holidays are over. Picture will come - camera currently packed for weekend. Thank you so much.

    ..... and Merry Christmas, everyone!!!
