I have some family members who would love these quilts. They hunt and fish. They would love them.

The photos aren't the best. The first one is NOT QAYG but made of nine really BIG 10 minute blocks. It is a hunting theme for my nephew. The centers are a woodsy batik. The second one is for my brother-in-law. He and my sister love hiking and camping in New England and Nova Scotia. I really wish you could see the hues on the back better. I almost like it better than the front! And last but not least is one for one of my sisters. She and the aforementioned brother in law love to go bird watching, so this is a duck theme. They have a river in the back of their house in Ipswich so they don't have to go far.

Then had major dental work done on Thursday and thank heavens for vicodin. still can not eat but am making a great meal for everyone else lol. Hope everyone has a great Christmas! This is my first without my Mom so i find myself wanting to cry when i look at the cake plate i used that was hers but i know she is having the best Christmas ever sitting at the table up in Heaven.

I can understand that. I was incredibly close to both my cousin and my Aunt. My Aunt died very suddenly in 2006 from a massive heart attack at 36 years old. Her youngest child turned a year old 5 days after she died. Then in 2009 my cousin died suddenly when her blood sugar crashed on her in the middle of the night and slipped in coma before anyone found her and had a heart attack. My Aunt cane came home and was calling her name and couldn't figure out why she wasn't responding and went upstairs and found her in bed. She was only 29 years old. Holidays are definately hard for us every year for when we start talking about them and how they aren't here.

Hey guys, I just got a new camera and am trying to load pictures. I hope this works. And I wanted to share with you and see what you think of my needlebook/pin cushion. Someone on the board will be receiving it in an exchange on the board.

I just figured I'd try to post over here. Cause you guys give good feed back. And I didn't want to spoil the suprise for the swap i'm involved in by posting a photo to early in that swap. Thanks for being good sports. Besides, a secret pal may end up with a new needlebook at some point.
