But, I can appreciate your work on them and I love seeing your pictures of your creations on them.

I'm posting a picture of my secret project. Could you be my secret Pal? (I really like how it came out, although I did have to simplify the initial pattern just a little.) And, then I'm off to project 2. I love putting HomeMade items in for my Pals.

Is there anyone who collects squirrels?

I know people collect many different things and I have a few friends who
collect. One friend collects pigs, another owls & monkeys and than another
    who collects squirrels.

So just curious as to what all of you collect.

As for me I collect the following:
    "cat" themed fabrics
amber glass (my oldest collection (started 31 years ago)
and my ever present coffee mug collection TRYING to get all of the United
States but still missing 18 states. I DO have MANY from foreign countries
such as Norway, Iceland, Luxembourg, Australia, London, Japan,Costa Rica
and a few other countries. My mug collection has a total of 73 that at this time
DO NOT get used and are packed away. I hope someday to have a place where I
can set them up on display and pull one down when I drink coffee or hot beverage.
This of course does not count my sewing/quilting related mugs, mickey mugs and
    my other normal everyday use.

quilty-louise i use to collect things, lots of things. but i found that you can run outta room very quickly. you find you need a larger home just to have room for your stuff. i use to collect coffee mugs also from my travels. when i had to downsize homes, there just was no room for all of those coffee mugs and yep they were in boxes. so i took out about 6 of my most favorites and donated the rest to a women's safe house.

i attend estate sales quite frequently and see all of the things that people collect barely having room to live in their homes and most of the things are unused and brand new. so now that i am really downsized i collect very little, though i do have some art pieces and a small glass shoe collection. i visited a shoe musuem in toronto a few years ago and just couldn't help myself. so i now just admire, pine over for a few minutes and keep going or take pictures to long over later. there is one collection that keeps growing and that is my wearable shoe collection. a woman can never have enough shoes in my opinion.

I used to do the collect a lot of things. But we moved so much and things kept getting broken. So I adore and admire pigs, dogs, cats, squirrels, mice, cows, seals...I just love looking at all the pretties.(it seams I'm trending toward animals, lol) I don't buy anymore breakables. I keep my collecting down to my fabric, pin cushions (only handmade) and Bookmarks. I love to collect them. There are so many different ones. And I love to read.(they get used all the time) Needlebooks are a new thing I've started to collect and make. Again they're so easy to love, move and store and enjoy and use. And I'm really enjoy all my mini quilts that I've gotten as exchanges. My own little gallery of art and inspiration. And again easy to transport. (can you guess I'm married to a Mover) lol.

I tend to look at things in terms of move, travel and store. lol I tend to keep things simple. Although, I think my fabric obsession may be getting out of hand. I think next year (2012) I need to make my resolution be...Use from my stash as much as possible.(seriously planning to do this)
