Lori, I just LOVE that Christmas tree skirt. I love cardinals and have most of the ones you have in your picture along with a few more. I also buy fabric with Cardinals when I find some I do not already have. One day I will do something with them but till then I just keep collecting......LOL

Lori the mantle cover is beautiful. Aren't those baby birds just the cutest. It's very festive looking.I love it. I'll be expecting mine.LOL. I'll have to hire Candi to keep an eye out for it .How's the second quilt for Marty coming? Candi are you back home yet? I know you signed up for dec.Glad to have you back.Yesterday was a rainy gray gloomy day so I got a little sewing done. For a change I made myself something. I am a diabetic and take 2 different insulins and must check my blood sugars 4-5 times daily. Well I made myself a little bag to carry my insulin and meter in. I could never find one that all would fit in.It turned out alright for having no pattern. So what else is everyone working on? Mary

carrot for me, the bookmark saves the threads that i am participating in regularly to a separate folder. i do not do email alerts so i just go to the folder and periodically check on those specific threads. it appears that any thread you post to, you are automatically subscribed to that thread under subscriptions. most of those are not threads that i want to keep up with or keep "permanetly, so i delete those subscription threads often.

Mary I use to be on 2 different insulins also Levemir at bedtime (220 units)
and Apidra at meal time (20 to 80 units depending on BS reading). I found
the PERFECT diabetic bag. It has enough room to hold several needles, meter
test strips, alcohol prep pads and one side set up to hold cold packs to keep
insulin cold for 4-6 hours (maybe 8) as long as it is not kept in a hot spot
    (like a car).
Prior to going on the pump last year I was having to use 7-12 syringes per
DAY for insulin, all I can say is THANK GOODNESS for the pump, now it is
just one "needle" every 2-3 days.

I sure hope that I can stay on the pump with our new insurance plan, I DO
NOT want to go back on the syringes (I like not looking like an abused
woman from all the bruises on my stomach).

If you ever need to find out more about the diabetic supplies bag
I have let me know I will track down that info again.
