Good evening everyone~ Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I've been busy trying to complete my Summertime Block Swap blocks and I am mailing those off tomorrow! Yeah!

So, the roosters are incredible and so are the mice. I LOVE all the blocks I've seen so far and I can't wait to get back to work on mine. My mother is visiting me right now and I'm taking care of her for a bit. She seems to have gotten either a cold or the flu while she's been here. Yuck..

Has anyone seen the animal blocks that are focused from the backside? I saw a pig tail block that was really cute. I will be making a pig soon. First, my cow!

Sleepy Hollow, your blocks are incredible. And, if you are designing the PP'ing patterns yourself....you are one talented lady. Super cute blocks!!!

Cuppy, your Alpaca is just the cutest ever. Love it.

Did you know that there is a Zebra farm here in Florida not far from me? Pretty cool, right. I wouldn't count Zebra's as a farm animal though. At least not in the US. There are Ostrich farms and Buffalo could be considered "cattle". (right??)

I wish I could take credit for the design, but I can't... The mouse is "Mr. Squeak" and can be found on craftsy for free (the designer has some other really cute blocks as well). The rooster came up as a block when I did a search for rooster blocks. My paper pieced design was a simple stocking I made for the Christmas swap last year. I did come up with my own donkey though!

They were fun to make though

I love all the ideas and creativity going on here. I so wanted to join in, and had every intention, but unfortunately I have had to withdraw from this party. Life and unexpected commitments are keeping me rather busy. I've already PM Graceful Ann. I'll certainly keep watching from the fence though! Go girls!

I finally found the website from which I downloaded the rooster pattern And, I discovered that they had a whole "block of the month" with different animals and equipment. On the upper right there is a flag you can click on to translate the page to English, and each block should have a pdf (just click on the picture of each block to go to its page).
