Hey ladies! I'm sorry I've been MIA. EOY at school is kicking my behind! I've received two squishes at this point and I've had a member withdraw. I hope I receive the rest of the blocks on time so I can get them back to all the participants quickly.

Aw Anna, sorry about the loss of a participant. But, I'm sure it will be a great swap anyway. Although, no one is sharing their blocks. It doesn't matter, I'm still excited and looking forward to getting back my blocks. I found a fun horse pattern on etsy. (That I had to buy.) Now, I just need to go and get it enlarged a little bit. It's just a little to small for what I want to make. And, need to decide on the fabric for it. May stop at JoAnn's after the copy place and see if I can find some type of crazy flannel for it. Would love to find some fabric with paint splats on it. Will look and see what they have. I wonder in between sewing, what you are working on. lol

Hope your new job is going well and that you are acclimating to it and your new coworkers. Running this swap must be difficult working full time! Thank you for thinking of this fun swap. I have enjoyed making all the animals I sent in!

Hi Anna,

I was wondering if you could give us some type of update. It's hard to tell how many participants you actually have. But, it doesn't matter if the swap was small. It will still be fun to receive a few blocks from others. I am looking forward to getting this put together for my 2 granddaughters. Kaylynn and Emmalee, 3 and almost 2. It's actually amazing that Emmy isn't barefoot also. My daughter complains constantly that Emmy always looses at least one shoe all the time. I love when you can see their little dimpled knees and (dirty) bare feet. I love that they are allowed to play and be children.
