I'll have to make some decisions. Looking at patterns I have saved on craftsy, I have the cow above, a chick, hen, rooster, and mouse. I haven't checked at home or on pinterest yet.

Hey, quick question for the sizes.....can they only be 6.5" or 12.5"? Or can they be anything inbetween? I was looking at the paper piece pattern I was talking about earlier, and come to find out they are something like 8" or so. I wasn't sure if that was allowed or not?

    Just curious....

Redstilettos thanks for the question. To clarify, we will be using multiples of 3 with the largest size 12.5"X 12.5"

I finished my doll yesterday. I will post a pic later this week to show y'all.

Hm. Not sure, but would an 8" block with a border in a similar background color be okay for a 9.5" block?

If not, I completely understand and I'll watch from here

    It's really okay!

I think that would be just fine, Red. As long as it finishes the right size. In the Summertime swap I accidentally had a 11.5" block instead of 12.5" . I added a small border. It worked.

Thanks NZquilter. You are absolutely right. Feel free to add borders to get the dimensions you need ladies (and gents).

That can actually look really nice especially if it is some farm type of fabric.

Ok, I'm officially signing up. I will update how many sets I sign up for as I have time to finish them (I should get some great quilting time in next week; 11 nights in a row of lots of time!)

I'll do the cow for sure, since I know I can do that one. Next I'm looking at a paper pieced mouse, and then I want to graph out a donkey. The mouse is 5" x 9" finished, so I'll be adding some fabric to get it to the 6 1/2 height.

I may try to sneak in some of that novelty fabric, just maybe not as much as I used on the pictured cow...

One set for sure, but I'm really going to try for the full five. This swap has me excited about working on a project!

I have completed a red daisy print cat, and a purple pig both are 9 1/2 inch blocks . I also have an alpaca wearing sunglasses and a bow tie, which is a 12 1/2 block. Now I just finished a blue goat which is also 12 1/2 size. I have some more work to do on them, they are good looking farm animals. I have a Spring Chicken with heels and a purse.. Pattern, I will attempt this weekend. I hope to be completed by next weekend.
