Stupid question: Is there a specific "farm dog" like a blue healer, lassie, great pyranese or can it be hunting dogs as well?

In my opinion, all farms have rabbits. Shoot even my yard has rabbits and it's not as yummy as a cornfield.

In my other opinion, if a dog lives on a farm, it is a farm dog. Of course, if it is a Chihuahua with a bow on it's head Farmer Bob gets made fun of down at the elevator but it's still a farm dog.
