You were posting while I was posting!
    That's terrible about the postage.
I used the $4.95 priority envelope and I easily got all 48 blocks in there. Didn't they have those?
I would have gone to another post office but you may not have had that option. I hope you kept the list of those that didn't send any postage and collect from them.
I will gladly send more if you don't get what's coming to you.

Did mine have enough postage? We weighted the mail back envelope plus all the blocks before I sent them & then mailed all of it in another envelope. PO lady said it was plenty. Please let me know, OK.

OVER $100. (Minus the $35 bucks people sent to help with their postage, so over $60.)

The P.O. employee YELLED at me for bringing in so many packages, then insisted that he weigh EVERY SINGLE one, and almost all of them needed more postage for this reason and that. The total added up fast.
What gives with the postal employees. Everyone at our Post Office are more than kind & willing to help. You know they are not that busy this time of the year. Not like it was Christmas. I think I would report him to his supervisor & then the post master. There is no reason for him to treat you like a second class citizen. Maybe somebody pooped in his coffee this morning. Thank you for all your hard work.

    BRT,

Did you find the note and postage that was enclosed with the blocks from me?? Hoping you did not throw it away.

Not a good idea! If you can get them back out of the trash I recommend that you do! They might come in handy for many reasons.

BRT...that is terrible....I bet the thing that threw things off were the applique blocks. They weigh differently depending on how they are done, how many pieces, etc. They can get heavy quickly.....I think I enclosed the flat rate envelope...but I would like to send you something to try to help out too....stinks getting hung with extra cost when you are hosting a swap...kinda like being punished for going the extra mile  I bet this group will help you out though...at least in my experience, they will.. :D
