I've been playing around with our farmer. This isn't sewn down yet and I will be adding a border of some type to get it up to 12.5 inches. He looked to plain on a 12.5 inch block. I'm not thrilled with his hat color. Feel free to make suggestions.

Just lurking on this one. I should join, but too many other irons in the fire. Although I have not done applique in eeons it would be fun. I know what animal I would do if I were doin this, but I will just lurk. Waiting for pics.

i'm doing sunflowers but I think I might have some hidden surpises under the leaves like lady bugs, butterflies, grasshoppers etc. This would be interactive and you would have to lift the leaf to see what is hidden. I like making fun pieces. Moosegirl

I have a set of twins to make these for, not mine but my nieces. they will be two in March.
I'll be starting on mine as soon as I finish a couple of things.
Love the farmer and agree with a change of head band.
