I have the pattern, the fabric bought, all the eyeballs bought and ONE BLOCK MADE. Can I please have a shiny RED star?

I've nearly got 12 donkeys done. 6 are like this, just needing the eyes, once I work out how I'm doing them, and the other 6 need the grass and the tail too.

Does it look enough like a donkey?

I like it. Did you use muslin? I am pretty sure I will use thaq for my background. Am working on my Sunbonnet Sue's I would like to make 24 so I get a nice assortment for the farm quilt. Can't wait to work on it after Xmas.

    Glad you like it!

I'm not convinced I want to make another 12 donkeys.
I'm toying with the idea of maybe making Peacocks as a second set instead. Do Peacocks class as farm animals? Admittedly this only works if I can get the right fabric...

I would say peacocks would qualify. We live on a farm and our neighbors have peacocks. Once in awhile they wander over here. They have an "Old McDonalds" farm. You name it and they have it.
