I'm trying to pick my fabrics....can some of you post what you are using so I can tell if mine will work? I'm also wondering....should I use a green (for grass) on the bottom part of the block? I don't have a blue that would be right for sky...I have picked out a tiny beige/beige floral for the background for my cow.

I will be doing chickens - 12 at least, maybe more. I was thinking about splitting the background colors, too, or using something other than off white but was unsure if this would be OK.
BRT, whatta think?

OK...here are the fabs.....and here is the design. Cute isn't she???? Anyway...is the green too bright? Should I use it vs. just using the beige background? Are the other fabs ok???

She looks like the perfect model for the California cow. She is moolicious!
We had a little incident yesterday. DH told me that a BIG RED ANGRY bull had gotten out of its field and came "visiting" just as he was ready to go to work. The ranch hands were following to try to coral the beast but he was having none of it. Pat said that three guys on horses were galloping down the street in the next little town so he stopped one and asked if they were looking for a red bull. At least he could tell them where to find it.
I love country living.
As for the peacocks - they sure are beautiful, but so noisy - well, not on the block.

That cow is adorable! Can't wait to see one finished.
Peacocks are OK but we only have 12 cows, 12 pigs plus all the other things we just have 12 of to divide between 40 people!
We do have 36 chickens coming so should be ok there.
We really need more basic farm animals except chickens imo.
:D
