Sorry I have been distant- just busy. Tomorrow I'll catch up, and answer any unanswered questions. Thanks for the patience!

So, if I decide to make a second set of 12 blocks, do you guys just want me to make 12 more farmers so more poeple will get farmers or do you want 12 other things. Either way works for me.
I've been thinking about this and decided that in my opinion everyone should make what they want and are comfortable making! It would be no fun trying to make something and get discouraged and quit!
We have all levels so just do your own thing.

If someone doesn't get a cow or a pig etc. they can always make one for themselves!

If we get some new people hopefully they will check the first list on page 1 and either make something entirely different or make one of those.
If not the more the merrier.
I have so many things I have thought of to make that we need a lot more people or blocks in this swap.

I haven't started anything except for planning! I want to get my quilts for kids done, my December blocks done and a few other things before I start. Hopefully I will start in a couple of weeks.
    :D :D

According to the list on the first page 39 participants.
    Maybe 34 different people.

As far as I can tell, I am the only one making farmers. I've almost finsihed the first set of 12 and am seriously considering makine a second set of blocks. I could make 12 more farmers or 12 of something else.

The farmers have been easy so I wouldn't mind making more of them, but I also wouldn't mind making houses or whatever.

That sounds like a winner of an idea! Fence that farm to keep everything in place.

Sorry these responses are overdue. My quote feature isn't working on my blackberry, so bear with me...

MadeinMaine, splitting up the background colors will be fine.

Sandpat, that green does look a wee bit bright, but it may just be my monitor. The other fabrics look fabulous- very earthy. I love the cow pattern!

Lisa_wanna_b_quilter, more farmers would be great!

Everyone, please no more chickens! (We have 3 sets.)

Sandpat- if you started using that green- that's fine. It is very grass like. I haven't seen green grass in so long.. Lol!!

The center of my 24 sheep blocks are done-ish. I need to add ribbon legs, and a border to bring the blocks up to 12.5 inches.

Everything looks/sounds great everyone! Remember to have fun with this swap! :D We have a great group of participants!
