BRT,
Should I use green grass fabric or a green close to it as the background for the mice and rabbit??
Also, what color should I use on the inner ear on the mice? I do not have any blush fabric.

Thank you all for thinking about me. My DH treats me like and old mother hen with one little ckick but I love him more everyday. We have been married 56 year . I will get the ducks done . Thanks again.

OrchidQuiltFish(OQF), a green grass color would be a lovely background. (We're using earth tones, so just make sure the color green isn't too neon.) What color are your mice? Would a muslin look nice for an ear color instead of a pink? Can I see your mouse?

No. I don't have enough fabric for the ear. It is a piece of scrap from a baby quilt I made last year. Don't know where I got it from either but it sure matches up.
Do you think the grey is too dark? I do have a grey that is lighter.

Nooooo.....the gray is perfect! Don't change it to lighter! I love the pink ear too....he is really cute, but maybe its a she..I dunno...but cute! cute! We'll have to make sure not to put it next to the cat block...wait...is someone doing a cat block? :D
