It does look like it qualifies for the PITA status! Just remember, it's done!!!! It is all looking so pretty, I can hardly wait to see it all done. You must be spending a lot of your time on it, I would never get it done.

I just get so caught up in the block I lose track of everything else. It is much like reading a good book, just one more page, well in this case it is just one more piece or one more stitch. and when I check the clock hours have gone by. Good thing I get a headache when I forget to eat, or I really think I would just stitch right through the day.
Some of the blocks are so pretty once I start I just want to keep going until it is finished, the others just become a challenge to see if my hand stitching skills get better and I can improve. I did notice that I tend to work in quadrants of the block and on the difficult ones, I can tell which ones I did first and the better ones were done last, that means I finally figured it out after repeating it for the 4th time.....[Eager Beaver but Slow Learner]
I am sure you will be fine when you decide to do this top.

I am working on the next block in the series,BLock 25 - It is simply a pleasure will be finished in no time. I guess they knew the terror they put us through with the last one.

I'll post a pic when I finish it.....working on the embroidery now

Update: I remembered to take a break for lunch today without getting a headache to remind me.....DUH.....
I'm working on the final quadrant of the hand embroidery, should have pics posted about 4:45...stay posted, this one is very nice.

I just calculated and it took 9 yds of double stranded floss to embroider this block. Fingers getting sore, guess time to break out the leather thimble.....just hate wearing a thimble, can't feel the fabric as well.

    Wonderful Block 25
