[QUOTE=jacquie;4655556]joan, try this, it might work...

i think if you try going to 'SETTINGS' at the top of the page,
then look half way down the left hand side of the page...
you will see 'MY SETTINGS', look for 'MY ACCOUNT', then click on 'GENERAL SETTINGS'.
half way down the page you will see 'MESSAGING & NOTIFICATION',
there you will see, 'Default Thread Subscription Mode', it will most likely already be set to 'Through my control panel only'
click on it and it will open up other choices...
    click on; 'instantly using email'...
i can't swear, but i THINK this should be what you're looking for...
good luck!! and let me know if it works!!
    love jacquie xxxx

Thanks Jacquie for the instructions .... I went into My Account .... hopefully I'll start getting some Email notifications, again ..... working with this new system "taxes one's brain and patience" doesn't it!

I do agree with all you have said Jacquie. They are lovely blocks and I'm so happy to have this up and running again!!
Speaking of which, I have almost completed Dayle's "cats" and will probably post a picture by tonight!

ohhh, great!! looking forward to seeing the kitties!! love 'kitty kats'!! puuuuuuuuurrrrrrr

    here's a piccy of phoebe...
she's loooooovley!! with the odd random pair of horns that come out every now and then lol... i've just had a weekend of rachael & phoebe, who came to stay & 'help' because of my poorly finger... i'm 'shattered'!! just completely 'worn out'!! lol...
the wedding preps have gone as far as they can for now, everything is booked and deposits paid, we're working on the invites 'here & there' when time allows... saving us about £1,000 because we're making all of the wedding stationary ourselves...

rachael & ben are saving like mad for 'their' side of the wedding... very costly things weddings! i don't think they realised just how much!!!

OMG ..... Jacquie, Phoebe is absolutely darling! What a little sweetheart .....just the kind you can't help wanting to "squeeze and hug", for sure.

Phoebe is adorable. And if I remember correctly from your pictures, she looks a lot like her mother.
