Welcome back to our circle, Jacquie. "Teagan" is "purring like a kitten" here in Twin Falls, Idaho ..... I've got so many projects in the making, and while working "any one of them" .... the mind is churning and thinking of 3 or 4 more, to add onto the pile. Like I've said, more than once, ..... "I am truly my own worst enemy"!

Glad to see you back Jacquie and to hear that you had a good time that included some "retail therapy"! That's always fun.
I've been working on the teacup and teapot row myself. still waiting for the other rows you sent me. Hope they make it to Maine soon!

    Jacquie,
Here in the states we just heard that Will and Kate may be honeymooning at Balmoral in Scotland before heading off to Africa. Maybe you could take our wedding gift in person.....lol. Welcome home.

By the way, I just found an applique technique block that is going to start in June..There are a total of 36 blocks all different, and they have it scheduled from June 2011 thru April 2012 ( How long do you think it will take US?) ..I think it looks gorgeous. Here is the link, there are people involved from Spain, Australia, Scotland, Ireland just to name a few countries.
    http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-95413-1.htm

And this site actually shows all the blocks for the quilt

Early birds what are your thoughts on it?

Patti, Have you sent Jacquies rows yet? I need to know what the background fabric is. Muslin? White or natural, or is it Kona cloth?

I looked on Amazon for the book and they have it on sale for 14.15 w/ free shipping. I think I am going to do it. I was reading the thread last night and there are some very helpful people on there and very nice also. If I read correctly, we choose the color of the background. I would love to find a deep navy blue or a teal. Then I could cross that off my list.

I'll read up on it when I get time. I'm busy at Dad's again right now. Then I'll decide for sure if I'm going to do it.
