You are absolutely correct, a picture is worth a thousand words. The last picture of the Queen says she finally got the whiffff! However, I was thinking looking at the Princesses face she might have been the one.

Yes, I saw that you did that with the last package you sent. What a great idea. I don't think we would get away with that here.

    Jacquie,
did you see the Affairs of the Heart sign up on the Block of the Month site? It is just gorgeous. It is applique and embroidery. Starts in June and ends in April 2012. They also have some early birds on there who have already started. I think we would all fit in nicely.......the 1st link is for the Affairs of the Heart site, the 2nd one show the completed project

Are any of the rest of this talented group up for this challenge? I dont want to go it alone.... take a peek

hi pat, yes, i had a look and i'm waiting for my book to arrive lol...
isn't it a scrummy looking quilt!!!
i'll have to see what fabric i have for it, i'm afraid it may have to be a bit of a scrappy lol...
what back ground do you think you'll go with???
i'm not really a 'black' person, but it does look stunning!!

i would also like to do the 'Baltimore Album Block of the Month' but i haven't looked through my batiks yet, i haven't got enough but i can add as i go along i'm sure. i had better get my skates on as they have already started this one!!

ohhhh help!!! there's sew many quilts i want to make!!!

I love blues and greens, so I am going to look for a dark blue for the backgroud. If I cant find something I like in the dark blue, I was also thinking of Teal or Peacock for the background, what do you think?

yes, i'm with you there... a dark navy blue would be great, get just as good effect without the harshness... and you're other choices... very nice!!
i will need to start looking!! just need the book to arrive!!
    it shouldn't b long!

i seem to spend half my life waiting on this postman!!! rofl
