This will be my first swap of this kind. I love tablerunners or tabletops. For me any size would be great as I have different size tables or tops that can use runners. Wine ones would have a few places they can go on. Have a coffeetable and a few end tables that can also use some nice tops. So my theme choice would be something made with wine fabrics as the focus with coordinating fabrics to match. . That should be pretty easy selection for whoever my partner might be. Walls in rooms are white and have brown colored sofa and chairs in room I am up for any challenge my partner will send my way. I say bring it on and lets all have fun.

I think we are all anxious, but we can find other projects in the meantime. Hosting a swap is a lot of work, you shouldnt make it any more complicated than necessary. Just IMHO . Ask me how I know. Never hosted, but lots of similar situations. In the end, it is your call, my dear Brat.
I can do whatever you need, wont know what im doing til im half done anyway. Lol

Forgive me, I must be off in the ozone somewhere. I'm reading this and wondering wine color or wine motif.
Either I'm sure would be pretty. I'm just trying to keep up with what the different fabrics/themes the people in the swap like. Is it color wine or wine motif?

Ok Buslady your right. I am not going to make it harder that it needs to be. I want to do this right and make sure everyone has a partner and that they are talking to each other (big one) and hopefully end up with a group of people who sign up who actually send too! I will stress if you sign up and you dont send you will get bad feedback which will affect your ability to sign up for another swap with any of the group leaders. Happily most follow through with their commitments!

It cooled down a whole lot today woke up its 40 again. So a 10 degree drop with wind. More like April. I am not terrificaly fond of too warm of weather and not all at once. So maybe 60 today perfect.

I wish I had some wine fabric and I too love that burgandy color its so toasty. I am sitting on my couch with its two burgandy throw pillows. Thank you for signing up you will enjoy our little group of ladies.

What kind of fabrics are you thinking about for this summer swap?

I have a idea in my head, that is summer and patrotic. I hope my partner picks that because I really want to make it, if not maybe for myself. I am not signing up for anymore swaps until after summer is over, we are too busy and I want to sew for the girls. Then fall will be another challenge because I start homeschooling Jayla and Beau.

OH GOSH I just wrote to you about homeschooling and another baby. How funny is that! I think summer time they are home with you its tough to get much else done at least for me it was all about go go go keep em busy entertained and happy. I did have them all in summer school for part of the day then it was summer camp as they grew older. got them out with other kids no sitting around and well me a couple hours off too. phew. to do fun things like pick up, wash shop you know real fun things like that.

I am thinking your thinking double sided? summer AND patriotic.. interchangable I suppose. Girl btw its one day at a time go with what works best not what you think works best not always the same thing.

ok did everyone else go into hiding and its me chatting with.. me all day long? where are you? whoooo whooooo?

She's So Excited! She just can't hide it! She's about to lose control and she thinks she likes it! hey girly that is MY song. I felt exactly that way when I was waiting for machine to come in. Last machine had no spool holder. it had a nail holding it in (my invention) and if I pushed down to fast on the peddle that spool and nail would come flying at me. A three inch nail heading your way is not a good thing. When I received it themamahauser talked me through using it (she has one as a spare machine) and let me tell you I still love this machine 9 months later. A brother 6000csi.Nothing fancy not the cheapest machine on the market and 100 miles from the most expensive. Walmart special but it goes forward! it goes in REVERSE too (novelty here) and all those cute little stitches. I think you will be in heaven. I cant wait to see those little sun dresses your going to whip out Sikesjj. Oh and your little angels wearing them. that too

Im torn on if I should wait until my machine gets here to quilt my table runner. I am terrified my other machine may try to eat it. But that is also waiting until the last minute literally to mail it, but I also want to do some of those pretty stitches on it! ANd I found the post you were talking about.
