Oh Wow! I feel like a kid in a candy store and told to only pick one, sheesh, they are all gorgeous!!! Jaba, you must really have some awesome stash that you could come up with 4 different selections. I thought of Brat the minute I saw the paw prints in the snow, made me think of her gifted critters. I am leaning toward #4, that green/gold combo is sooo pretty.

cheesehead isn't it almost like SHOPPING in a quilt store like this , like that.. oh I love that! your very lucky! and Jaba you knew that was the one to make didn't you? it was talking to you.. the rest you can make for .. ME!

one tea pot I hate ten minute runners because of the lack of quilting/batting. but you turned it into a REAL runner now and its wonderful! I don't get why they are not quited and batted (the ten minute factor?) but they don't lay right otherwise. laying right is good.. lol.. maybe the pattern now has some potential for me. OH and those quick patterns? I am so slow nothing is ever quick. I saunter through one project a day and think how do people do this so fast? Jaba can make three for every one thing I make in the same time frame. SPEED DEMONS that is what those guys are!!

now onto fun things again.. uh .. its kind early and frosty. not fun yet. oh yes I made a tray of cinnamon rolls this morning at 5:30.. bored and all.. can't wait to start sewing. I need to make a house quilt block for trade and not sure how to go about this. think half will be pieced and half like the roof will be appliqued. maybe a swiss chalet type block? interesting project.. since Nurse bonnie is not responding to me on size I will work on like the dogs dq first. I think she travels a lot hence no replies. she always posts I just got back.. anyone know her? I hate to sew something and have a missing partner.. hum..

I made a 10 minute runner today for a friend that I will see next week. It took longer than 10 minutes but I added batting and some top stitching!

AliciaH, I picked out a pattern for your runner and since you have young kids I'm going with the 'cute winter' instead of the 'serious snow'. It is 19 x 42. Is that too big for you? If so, I can make it a little shorter.

Cheesehead, I love that fabric too! Started out and made #1, wasn't calling me, then went to #3, thought maybe. Then to #4 ...Oh yes that's the one!! Yesterday did a #2 also and like it. Now I need to make me one out of that fabric. Got enough table runners around here but they all seem to disappear quickly. Our kids seem to head straight to the sewing room to see what's new...Not complaining at all, keeps me busy and occupied. Yours will soon be ready to mail, just need your address please.

I'm here! I've just had a couple busy days at work -- part of Saturday, all day Monday plus Monday evening, then a regular-length day Tuesday. Then I fell asleep early Tuesday night after being worn out from the Monday work marathon. Some weeks are like that, with no time to sew (or shop for more fabric, which is probably a good thing!). But I've been thinking of color combinations and planning -- and following all your comments and pictures.

I liked all four of Jaba's color combinations, by the way! But the first one was especially intriguing.

I think today is my turning point! I can actually think. I feel wonderful! Yea!!!!!

I received some great Santa fabric that I had ordered, yesterday. I am so pleased with how it plays so nicely with the fabrics I have in mind for it. Now to get a move on.
I'm almost afraid to say that my workday looks light, but if all works out I should be able to get a start on my runner today

Snowmen to me are winter. I have a friend that when all the Christmas decorations come down, she decorates her home in snowmen for the month of January.
