Could you do a border in a contrasting color to make it pop? Yes, please post pictures!

I also put this on the Buy/Sell/Trade section of QB. Maybe I'll get lucky!
The substitute fabric looks a little darker in the photo than it actually is (where or where is my sunshine???) It does have more going on than the original, but in playing around when I cut it I can avoid the darkest parts.
Let me know what you think:) In the meantime I'm binding the other 2 quilts.

    HELP!!
Looking for a fabric by designer Marsha McCloskey -'Staples' from Clothworks. It is from the first 'Staples' line I believe, it's not II or III for sure.
Cream background with a light gold rose/leaves. I've included a pic. I only need a little, 1/4 yd would probably do it - & I'll pay (almost ) anything to get it ASAP!

Thanks for taking a minute to look

    Good Morning Fab 5!

My sweet DH is taking me to 2 LQS - each about 45 min away (in opposite directions :!:  ) in my 'not-ready-to-give-up' search for this background fabric. Isn't he precious :!:
    Wish me luck!

    Kathi,

Woo! Pretty! I like what you've added to my quilt. You have my address, correct? If not, PM me & I'll get it to you.

I've been a little remiss on RR quilting lately. Been working on 3 graduation quilts, 2 baby quilts & a 'big-brother-to-one-of-the-babies' quilt. Go figure that when I'm in crunch time w/quilting the weather finally breaks long enough to hurriedly get the garden in :!: :? Well, most of it anyway ;-) There's still a little to do, but it can wait. Sunshine or no, 2 of the graduation quilts have to be ready by Sat. Ah well, that's what midnight oil is for, right?? :?

    'the other' Cindy ;)
