How was everybody Memorial day weekend? We went camping and it was cold but the sun did shine!

After a horrific thunderstorm on Sunday that delayed air traffic and our daughter's arrival for 4 hours, Monday was clear in the high 80's and absolutely beautiful day! Had a great bar-b-que at home and thoroughly enjoyed the day! Hope everyone was as lucky with the first holiday of the summer season.

We had 'Labor' Day instead of Memorial Day - that is, we labored! :lol: :lol: I got all the windows done in & out, curtains, blinds washed, familly room furniture rearranged (DH' idea, not mine - but I love the new look :thumbup: ) did a little yard work & then collapsed in front of MASH.
It's currently hotter than heck here - no gradual spring temperature change in Ohio - it's winter...BAM :!: it's summer :!: Next week is supposed to be a little cooler. I hope so! Heat & humidity drain me like nothing else can :thumbdown:
2 more graduation quilts & a baby quilt done - soon I'll be able to tackle the RR that is patiently waiting her turn. :wink: How's everyone else coming along??

No thanks for asking. It was close but not close enough thank God... I am almost out of school Hoooray.... last day of work is June 25th. I can hardly wait..... what have you been up to? I'm sure what ever it is it's probably naughty :)

I am going to a quilt retreat in Lincoln City,OR this weekend with a group from this board that are from Washington and Oregon.i hope to get alot done,there are 18 of us renting a house.I can't wait!
