Just got home. There were 16 of us in a house on the beach. We sewed, laughed, ate, went to the beach, casino, ate and sewed for 3 days.I meet a great bunch of women and we are planing our next retreat in Washington for Oct.I finished a Mariners compass. One of the group was a finalist in McCall's quilt contest.Got great tips, had a paper piecing class and lots of fun.Someone will be posting pics soon and I let you know.

But you are an angel for coming to her rescue! I am sure that she appreciates your efforts.
I know every situation is unique -& that every story has 2 sides - but what is wrong with people these days??! How does anyone back out on their own child??! How could they face themselves in the mirror each morning??  I'm sure the dress will be beautiful! And I'm praying her wedding is too! - truly a dream!
