Fabric postcard swap
#43
I have a couple of questions since I have never done this before.
Does the post office have the clear envelopes to sell?
If they do, do they stamp the date on the post card before putting in the clear envelope?

Susan,
I bought my clear envelopes years ago it was like $10 per 500.
Don't know what I did with them all though have seemed to lost
them in recent years.
I will see if I can find the website that I bought them from and maybe
if this takes off real well several people and go into buy them and split
the costs.

I just went to wal-mart to see if they had anything. Well these are online, but a pretty good price. Here is what I copied and pasted.
100 Self Sealing, Zipline Brand Bags, Clear 2 mil. Thick Plastic - 4'' X 6''$3.25 and $2.00 shipping.
That is not bad if that will work?
Most of us could afford that to each just order us a package of these.

I didn't join the swap because I had so many other projects and swaps going on, but after the holidays, if the swap continues I will join. I did a postcard swap with another group about a year ago and really got into them. I have a tote filled with all kinds of stuff to make the PC's and I can't wait to see the pictures of the ones you ladies make.

Looking forward to having you join in on the fun.
