Will be in the mail to you tomorrow DJ, all packaged up and ready for the post office. Report today was just rain at the new house, tomorrow rain and wind expected but thank heavens we are inland. So far so good....don't really want trouble before we even get there.

I was thinking of you while watching weather channel, looked ugly to me. I guess it all depends on when you plan to be there & if there is a messy clean up afterward. Hope for the best & plan for the worst, Girl Scout training!

Sorry to disappoint you, DJ, but I've decided to sit this one out. Too many irons in the proverbial fire, and I don't have 50 fabrics that I'm ready to cut up yet, or that I haven't already used in swaps in the past year.

Looks like a great group, though. Have fun!

You will be missed, Zozee!!! While I was visiting a sister in California recently, she showed me her fabrics, some very nice & some not my taste. She has no problem using broadcloth & assorted other fabrics for wall hangings using small applique pieces & her projects are wonderful. I'm a 100% quilters cotton gal myself so I've set out to cut her 7x7 squares or so of all my previously swapped fabric, some from 2012 when I first began my quilting journey! Also, I found a place to send most of the broadcloth and other non-essentials that I began learning with. Like you, I am just not ready to cut up the 70 new fabrics I bought on that trip at various quilt shops across 4 states, but want to save for 2017 swapping & projects.
Hope to see you in the Winter Swap, watch for it in January!
    hugs,
    dj

You will enjoy this. I have been doing these swaps for a couple years and it is fun to get a variety of fabrics for doing scrap quilts.

Hello everyone. Welcome back to repeaters and welcome to new comers.
I sent pm, for 10 sets of 50. Which I assume is the max we can do, right?

happylab, 10 sets is the max this swap. I will canvas how many would like to swap 10-20 bags in a future swap, still learning how to host!! So happy you've joined this swap!!!
    hugs,
    dj
