Sign ups for Fall 2021 Row/Round Robin is open until 8.15.21

Please sign up for either a row robin or a round robin or both if you so choose. Once sign up is complete we will set up the groups. Please indicate if you can mail international or not when sending your mailing info to me.
You will have a month to finish and mail each round.
Anticipated schedule:
Dates for the Row Robin: Each row will be 12" x 60", completed quilt will be 60"x60"

Dates for the Round Robin: the centers can be square or rectangle with at least one side 18" to 24"

Each person will make their center and send it on to the next participant, who will add on a border, in the style and/or theme of the center block (or completely different but complimentary.)

Each person in turn adds another border that compliments the quilt. Once the quilt has made the rounds to all participants it is mailed back to the original owner.

Each border should be not more than 6" wide. We are experienced quilters. If you slap on a plain border because the piece needs a plain border, add something like applique. Don't be lazy on someone else's piece.

This Row/Round Robin is open and welcoming to members of all skill and income levels.
Use only 100 percent quilting cotton. Please pre-wash and press your fabric.
Please note: Board participation is an essential ingredient in making this RR successful. Please do not disappear.

General Rules

1. Please send things you'd be happy to receive yourself.

2. Please graciously accept what you receive.

3. If, for some reason, you don't feel you can use something you receive in a swap, please keep it to yourself. If you receive fewer items than you were supposed to receive, please notify the activity organizer by pm. NO public posts complaining about "inferior" fabric or construction, whether or not it was pre-washed, over-exposed to smoke or pets, off-size, etc. (This hasn't happened in a very long time. I mention it as a COB (Cover Our Butts) "just in case".)

4. Please, NO public complaints or criticisms of other swappers, items received, or other type for any reason. This rule applies to any related posts in all sections of the board - including Personal Diaries & Announcements. ALL complaints must be addressed by Private Message (pm) to the activity coordinator. In the unlikely event the coordinator cannot help solve the problem, please contact PatriceJ.

5. Every once in a while, a swapper who's participating in more than one swap may accidentally send their packets to the wrong coordinator(s). If you receive items that don't seem to match the swap, please notify the coordinator. She/he will try to help resolve the mixup.

6. You must agree to mail/ship your packages using a carrier & method that provides tracking information (for example, USPS Priority).

7. You must agree to provide that tracking information to the Swap Coordinator as soon as the package has been sent.

8. If you want to leave a positive feedback/rating for a user with whom you swapped, then please make sure to read the feedback rules. Only Swap Coordinators/Hosts may post negative feedback in relation to a swap or similar activity.

I plan to do the Row robin for sure and might jump into a round robin also.

I have a winter/snowman themed row robin from many years ago so now I need a spring/summer row robin. I've got a couple of projects going right now but plan to start the first row soon.

I am a maybe on the Round Robin. I have an MRI on my shoulder and an appt with a wrist doctor both on Aug 9th. I will let you know asap if I'll be able to participate. I am thinking I might have to sit this one out.
