Love it Hav, those penguins are super cute.
I am planning on doing sunflowers for sure, haven't decided on what else will be in my row.

Oh love the penguins in the hearts. Is there a story behind it?

My good friend from childhood loves penguins and I have made her many things, but never a quilt. I saw the pattern by my favorite paper piecing designer, Made by Marney, and knew this was the design for Denise. I decided to incorporate color as she is a bright and vivacious person. She has struggled with mental health issues, but has always shined. I felt this design really represents who she is.

How fun, I'm sure she will love it.

TG - I don't think I have any 1930s fabric, I'll wait until I get this one before I go shopping.

I just smile every time I see your avatar photo, it was so fun working on that RR quilt.

    Default Row is ready

My Row is ready. Here is a picture of Denise with the fleece penguin onesie I made here when she was in the hospital with a staph infection inside her hip after hip replacement surgery. Been friends since our teens.

It will be fun to see how it develops by the time I get it.

I hope to start my row next week as we will be out of town this weekend for a short family vacation and I'm in a good spot with my other projects.
