I'm going to replace Rectangle Makes the Square for Calico Puzzle:

    http://www.quilterscache.com/C/CalicoPuzzleBlock.html

And I think I'll just withdraw Card Trick. Sorry gang, but I'm overwhelmed right now. The kids are back in school, and I'm just busier than I imagined!! I guess summer and the lazy days led me to believe I have more time.

So, I'll be in for just this one block.

    Thanks!

Question?? I know in the black and white swap, we made all the same blocks, out of all the same fabric. I am only doing one set, the 4 patch chain, but I collect autumn leaf fabrics. I have tons, can I make the 4 patch chain with different leaf fabrics, or should they all be the very same?

They can be different fabrics as long as they are the same block pattern.

I've been sewing up a storm with fall colors this weekend, but the spouse is gone on a motorcycle ride through colorado and he has the camera. It's been pretty fun. I have a couple of different projects all going, like the block swap, a wall hanging, etc. while I have all of the fall colors out. Just so you know - they're comin' along great. They are "hope of hartford".

The mailing deadline is October 31st so there's plenty of time for you to join. I put you down for Woven Ribbons.

Saravincent, I LOVE the "Hope of Hatford" block - especially the partial seam construction. And what a great block to create in Autumn fabrics.

Coletta, I've finished my "Four Patch" and would like to start another block. I've got the right fabrics for "Golden Gate", which I found in Mary Malone's book,"1,000 Patchwork Blocks". As soon as I've one "Golden Gate" finished, I'll send photos of both. This is sooooo much fun!
