Love all the blocks! I'm finishing mine up today and all I can say is "Please don't look at the back!" I had issues with the half square triangles and nearly had a knock down, drag out, WWE fight with them. I had to take all 48 apart at one point and resew them to get them the right size. So, in order to get these things to 12&1/2 inches, my scant 1/4inch is definetely on the "scant" side. This was really a learning experience for me. I'll post pictures this afternoon with any luck!

    Colletta,

I hate to say this, but my beautiful blocks are just not measuring up. They're all off by about 1/2" which I think is just too much to force anyone else to try to "fudge" them into their quilt. And I don't have enough time to "whip up" a dozen more, so I'm afraid I have to pull out.

Don't feel badly for me, though, because I think I will use them to make a block for youngest daughter's graduation (she likes the block because I used fabric left over from what she wore the first day of kindergarten, so it's a perfect choice!).

Perhaps I'll have much more luck with the next one. All you lucky quilters who are getting a windfall of beauties, have a great time! I'll be watching for your photos.
