I received my Fall blocks a few days ago. They are all beautiful. Thank you everyone; I am going to make a few more to add to them for a bigger quilt. Thank you Colletta for hosting this swap.

I got my blocks in the mail a little time ago, and I want to thank everyone for the beautiful blocks, and especially Colletta in hosting this swap. I so want to do the brown and raspberry, but I just do not know if i will have time, still thinking on it..........this was a great experience.

Thank you CollettaKay for hosting the Fall Block Swap. I am very pleased with ALL 24 of the blocks I received, (including my own!)
During a routine visit to Joann Fabrics, I found 3.5 yards of blue flannel with the logo of the University of Michigan. Since my DSIL is a Michigan alumnus, and his birthday is the end of February, I used the flannel for the backing and made a lap quilt for his birthday. I felt the Fall blocks I chose for the lap quilt were quite masculine. He was thrilled with the quilt, as evidenced by the photos. Thanks again for your organizing skills.

Your quilt looks great. I have not done anything with mine yet. I only got eleven blocks because I donated one to the gal who's blocks got ruined. I need to make one more block, different than the one's I made cause I got one of my own back.

Thanks Esqmommy. Kato, the Beagle (who looks like he's sleeping) just finished checking all the doors and entries; Cosmo (the brother Beagle) was out checking the locks on all the windows. IN MY DREAMS! Kato was sleeping 'cause that's what he does best! And Cosmo was also sleeping, but on my bed - 'cause that's what he does best. But they are such loving boys!
