I can't compete with speedy Red but I did managed to get some sewing time in today and I have my first set done. I love this leaf fabric. This block is a 9½" block.

deecee your block is gorgeous. I love the colors and the autumn prints. I'm still working on my summer quilt before I start on this swap!!! Almost done. I'll post a pic on the summer swap site when I finish the top.

Deecee, that is an awesome block.

I am starting to work on my Fall blocks. Hope to have something to share this afternoon. I went very simple with this block to start with.

Thanks ladies. I found some lovely autumn fabrics that just went so well together.

Armylady I enjoy pp just as much as normal piecing and it can be just as easy (or just as hard) once you get used to it.

I need to start thinking about my other autumn blocks now.

This is the block I have been working on today. A simple 16 Patch with an appliqued Maple Leaf. I love it when things are off quilter and wonky and I hope you will as well. I still need to sew the Maple Leaf down. I discovered I did not have any matching thread. What a shame, I will just pick up a spool when I go shopping tomorrow. The light block is like an ivory color. Not white. I think white is too stark for the Fall Blocks I'm making.

Still thinking what the next block will be. I am thinking a Basket Block with Apples.
