Muse&Sew I will take your suggestion into consideration, I did check out the Pinterest page and there seems to be a lot of different Snowman patterns that could be made.

Wow, wow, wow, Muse, that is a great link. Thank you for sharing it. I am book marking it to be able to go back and look at it at greater length later.

Thanks for taking the time to show us the blocks judith. I hope the rest of them come in soon so you don't have to worry anymore.
I didn't save any of mine back, so it doesn't matter if I get any of mine back. I hope that helps with your sorting woes.

I want to thank the ladies very much who sent a special block just for me. It is the most wonderful thank you I could receive. I love them and appreciate them very much.

Hey all, I wanted to share my epic fail with you. I made this block for my quilt. It is appx. 6 1/2" sq. I will not be using it in my quilt. I followed the directions with all these weird cuts. It's a bit smaller then 6 1/2" sq. But, every single point will be cut off! I should have known better, look at the picture in the book....just about every single point is cut off in the sample piece that is in the book!

I am going to try it one more time. I adjusted the cuts just a bit bigger. I guess we will see what try #2 will bring. I'll post it when I finish.

Judy where did you purchase a block dictionary from and is it filled with patterns?

It's a great block Judith - I'm sure you could just spit about the points though - hope you get it sorted 'cos it would look lovely in your quilt.

Make sure you use a scant seam allowance.

Glad to see my blocks arrived safely too.
