I've been working on my fall quilt too. Somehow--- don't ask me!--- my design turned into a queen size! I only have two more 6.5" blocks and something like three more 12.5" blocks to make, then onto some pieced sashing. I graphed it out on paper and it just kept growing

I've never done the quilt as you go method. I'm thinking I should try it on this quilt. Will take me longer though. Any suggestions? I know there are a couple of tutorials on here on how to do it.

Hi Muse, I'm going to try this method when I quilt my summer quilt. The Fall quilt, I'm going to try to find a professional quilter to quilt my Fall quilt.

I am going to try out my new westalee rulers and do some fmq in between. I am not sure which design yet. I am about three quarters of the way through setting the top.

Here are the top and bottom set blocks in the top. I decided to quilt the two and then join them up so I could do it on my domestic machine. I still have a quilt loaded onto the quilt table and I don't want to disturb that set-up.

I had to put a candy dish onto the one side to get it to stay there long enough to get a picture. LOL. ..

I suppose I should have pressed it first before the pic, but I got on a hurry to share.

I am hoping to have it completed by the fall this year. That would be nice. Oh, by the way, this is a combination of the fall leaves swap and the one we just had, autumn.
