Hi everyone:
I am sorry that I have not been on the board for a little while. My brother has cancer and I have been going back and forth to Jacksonville to spend as much time with him as I can and to help out my sister-in-law who is exhausted. This past Sunday September 4th they had to take him to Hospice. I do not want him left alone at all, so I am staying with him in the room all night. We don’t know how long he has but I will be with him as long as it takes. I brought my laptop with me and finally got organized enough to use it. I will check in as much as I can. GOD bless you all!!
Blessings!
Carole

Carsey: You are doing the right thing -- he should not be alone. Your place is there. We will muddle along just fine!

All best wishes to you and your brother and all of the family.

Oh! Carole. My heart goes out to you. I have just one sibling, a brother whom I dearly love. I'm so sorry your brother is so ill. Hugs!!!!

Now: We have some people doing embroidery blocks and they might be slightly different.

After thinking about it, I don't have a problem with people sending in 12 blocks that are not all identical.

I don't think any swapper will be harmed by someone making different blocks because they will be getting all differerent blocks back anyway.

If someone has a problem with this addition, please let me know!!!! I just want everyone to have fun doing this swap!!!!

Blessings!

I was picking out my blocks, and now, I find I still have a question. Did we receive a green light to also use different block patterns, too???

That won't cause her a "sorting problem," making certain the 12 coming back to us are all different patterns? I guess... if the fabrics are (will most certainly be) different, it doesn't matter?

Happy Quilting
