Here’s a pic of my fabric potentials. I do not plan to use all of these f-q’s. The center row is divided into 2 different colors. Gray/black and blues/purples. I may If any color in my selection does not go with this swap, please let me know now. I will start cutting after next Wednesday of next week. The far left is not my background, just fabrics I would use as a light fabric.

Here’s my cream colors. The fabric I want to use is the bottom right. Please let me know what you think of all the background colors? I may end up using all of them, depending on my mood at the time. Thank-you. None of my colors are gray, to me they just look that shade.

Happy lab. The blues don't go, but that is my humble opinion. The third row to the right side look a lot like my fabrics. Are you going to use the same pattern or change the pattern with each set??

This is my first set. Certainly not perfect but I think I'll change the fabric and not the pattern. Opinions?

So it is okay to use the same pattern for all sets, we just have to change colors. I was planning on changing patterns for all of the color sets. So I planned on using 5 different patterns, same fabrics in each set?

Battle Axe, i’ll Take out the blue’s, do I need to take out the grays and blacks as well in that column?

Happylab I would like for everyone to use a different pattern per set if possible that way I have a better variety of blocks to swap. I agree with Battle about the blues but a lot of the others look like pretty fall colors to me.

BattleAxe I really like your blocks a double star very nice job the background cream or WOW?

I have stuff that is whiter. It was cream when I started, but I do admit that against the red it looks whiter.

You have plenty of good fabrics, happy lab. The stuff in the 4th row is great and there is plenty there.

Here is the same pattern against one of the churn dash that has a white on white background. Mine is not cream enough, but it is creamier in real life, but does't picture well.

The center of that yellow star block is not black, it is dark red batik. I don't know how to get the pics to come out more realistic. Does anyone? I've picked out a different pattern for # 3 set of blocks, but it's by the same designer. I was having trouble finding the star in a 12.5 block. I looked at the patterns that Armylady posted, but my feeble brain could not understand them. Seems as if she wanted you to cut these two different sizes and then when it came time to sew, she was talking about something that had not been cut yet. Long ago that would have not bothered me, but not that I'm old.....older....really old....well you know.
