Welcome back Carrot and Crafty! Lovely package BelindaD! Love the personalized Dishtowel Louise made especially for YOU and all the goodies you received!!! Nice package!

For you folks who like to crochet and enjoy bicycle riding...in style (LOL!!!), check out the cover of the current Joann's flyer. A crocheted bicycle frame cover...what a hoot! I recently purchased the book, One Yard Wonders and there is a cool pattern to make saddlebags for your bike out of 1 yard of laminated fabric. I doubt I will attempt the crocheted frame cover, but do hope to make the saddle bags as soon as I find a laminated fabric in my liking.

I just checked the USPS site and my pals package is still on for delivery today...although it's final destination has not been updated so we will have to see....... if not today, maybe tomorrow! Another clue, my pal is working on a few quilting projects for her loved ones.

Maureen, I had to go look. How hilarious! Reminds me of the Purple People - Adam and Eve Purple - who used to run a famous community garden in NYC. They used to ride around on bicycles that looked like that except all purple with many decorations. Here's a link to a YouTube video if you're interested http://youtu.be/-VfBvdzgQxY

Adam Purple was a compelling and intelligent person. When they tore down the garden, it was heart breaking. Many years later I faced the same thing when the city ploughed down my own community garden.

Moving this to my blog so we don't clutter up the SP thread.

Well, SP, the USPS strikes again! Yesterday, I had your package in hand ready to mail it and after I got out of the bank at 11:30 AM the post office door was locked with a line of people inside...guess they wanted to be able to lock up for lunch on time. Anyway, DH and I will get 'er into the mail today on our way to lunch and a movie.

    Great packages all.

Lori, hope all goes well with your cataract surgeries. You can look forward to seeing really well again from what I understand. Mine are slow growing so guess it'll be a while...I'm in no hurry.
