K~Ben Franklins are like the old Woolworths or 5 and 10 stores...not as big as a target or walmart but they carry a little bit of everything.

Didn't see who ended up getting Moe's awesome tea fabric mug rug?
We had snow last night and freezing rain today....supposed to be 73 on Wednesday...crazy!!!

Brenda, snow in Texas? Yikes! It's cold out today, but the snow last night was a sprinkle and now it's gone. Clothes on the line got rather crunchy. Can't wait til the dryer is fixed!

Thanks LindaR! I will send you a PM...The Ben Franklin store sounds cool! We don't have anything like that here. I do remember Woolworths...in fact there was one in downtown Chattanooga when I lived there back in the mid 80's but it eventually closed down. They had the best lunches (the lunch counter area was equipt with a dumb waiter...gosh...remember those...?!), and such a wide assortment of treasures!

My pals package was delivered last Thursday. No word yet from my Pal, but I know that she is very busy the later part of the week with her grandchildren and she is also planning a wedding this spring so I am sure I will hear from her as soon as she finds a free moment.

We had a weather alert here last night, too... was expecting 3-5" of snow, though just got a dusting which is fine by me. It's in the 30's here going into the 40's mid week. Yes Brenda...your weather does sound crazy!

Well, that's not me or Melissa. We're still waiting anxiously! And neither of us has grandchildren.
