All I have left to do is the binding on mine.
Hope to get it mailed by the end of the week. :-)

Still have to sandwich it and quilt it and bind it.....
I can't do 1" pieces, but I can usually work out the pieces in strips and then cut the rows to the correct size squares or whatever.

Jan10, I use leftover batting from other quilts in my doll quilts. I usually have low loft batting, and that works out fine for me. Then I quilt it in any way I want to. I'm a 'funk quilter' or 'cady-wampus' quilter in the fact that I don't always do conventional quilting on my quilts. i quilt by hand, so I might use cookie cutters or make my own shapes to quilt around. I also don't like to measure on quilting, so my quilting is more free style about where and how I put the shapes I quilt around. That makes it more fun than having to be exact. Sorry, but I tend to ramble on about things you might not be asking about........ Janis

I got my little Feb quilt this weekend from crazyquilternc, along with the 2 I signed up for in the Jan swap!!!!!
The darling little quilt from crazyquilternc is made with beautiful darker red (I don't know how else to explain it), the deep red that I love. It is a floral red on red in 4 squares mixed with 9 patch squares of black and white with the center square of the red. It is bordered in black and has small red squares with white prairie points in the corners of the quilt. It is a delightful little quilt and I'm hoping crazyquilternc can post a picture of it for me. I am unable to do it. I haven't gotten her quilt even started yet, and the lovely little one I received will be an inspiration for me to get hers done soon. I just love the little quilt.
